On the 11th, iNavi Systems, a mobility map platform development subsidiary of Thinkware, announced signing a strategic joint business agreement with AI-specialized company Omelet for the development of an AI-powered next-generation logistics platform.
This partnership aims to jointly plan and develop a next-generation Transportation Management System (TMS MCP Server) and introduce an integrated logistics platform utilizing AI technologies. As part of the collaboration, iNavi Systems will provide Omelet with its RDM (Road Distance Matrix) API—a special-purpose route calculation technology—and map data to support development and service operations. Omelet, in turn, will integrate the provided data with its own AI routing engine and data analytics tools to jointly develop a next-generation TMS solution that allows customers to manage delivery and dispatch tasks using natural language commands.
The MCP Server is an AI-based transportation management server platform that integrates iNavi Systems’ RDM API with Omelet’s AI routing and analytics capabilities. It enables customers to easily build customized TMS applications or handle complex dispatch and delivery planning through natural language input. Notably, it can reduce development time by over 90% compared to traditional system integration (SI) projects, making it quickly applicable across various industries.
iNavi Systems’ core technology, RDM, is a logistics-specialized route search engine that calculates distances and travel times between multiple delivery points in one go, reflecting road and vehicle conditions as well as real-time traffic data. It boasts outstanding performance, capable of computing distances and times for up to 500 delivery points in under five minutes. With processing speeds dozens of times faster than conventional methods, it significantly shortens transportation planning time and is optimized for large-scale dispatch and real-time logistics operations.
Through this partnership, the two companies will promote various cooperation models, including AI-powered route search, logistics data analysis, co-development of customized TMS applications, and joint sales and marketing. Together, they aim to proactively respond to the digital transformation of the future logistics IT market and the growing demand for intelligent delivery and dispatch systems.
A representative from iNavi Systems stated, "This agreement will accelerate innovation in Korea’s logistics and transportation industry by combining iNavi’s high-precision mapping platform and RDM technology with Omelet’s AI routing and analytics capabilities. Through close collaboration, we will rapidly bring next-generation intelligent transportation management solutions to market."
