L-CAMP is Lotte Ventures’ flagship acceleration program, where each startup is assigned a dedicated investment manager to provide close support for open innovation and business growth in collaboration with Lotte Group affiliates. This year, startups with the potential to develop technology, collaborate, and create joint business models with Lotte affiliates were selected, with expectations for tangible synergy and value creation.

Six companies were selected for L-CAMP 13: △Jobex (precision agriculture and seed analysis solutions) △A.DotCure (AI model for heart failure detection and severity prediction based on voice data) △Omelet (foundation model for logistics robot operation using AI-based routing engine algorithms) △OpenFormat (referral marketing SaaS solution) △SOMNI (sleep care solution for chronic fatigue and insomnia in office workers) △TidyBee (AI-based all-in-one branding solution).

For the 5th batch of Future Diet, four companies were selected: △Romancive (customized sleep food development) △Mewolmejoo (one-stop solution for private label alcoholic beverages based on brand IP) △NANU (eco-friendly pulp containers and packaging as alternatives to disposable plastics) △ABBR (sustainable alternative coffee business using upcycled beer by-products).

On the 28th, Lotte Ventures held an orientation for these companies. The event was attended by about 70 people, including Lotte Ventures investment managers and Lotte affiliates, where discussions covered not only investment but also PoC (Proof of Concept) opportunities between the startups and Lotte affiliates. Notably, Eunsu Kim, Head of Lotte Shopping e-Commerce, Yoonhee Lee, CEO of Mobidoo (L-CAMP 2nd batch, SaaS-based live commerce solution for brand malls), and Hyungjin Lee, CEO of MyNormalCompany (Future Diet 2nd batch, low-carb, ketogenic food & lifestyle brand), participated as alumni to share practical know-how and strategies for effective growth and PoC success with this year’s startups.

For this year’s L-CAMP 13th and Future Diet 5th programs, Lotte affiliates such as Lotte Wellfood, Lotte Central Research Center, Lotte Hotel, Lotte Homeshopping, Lotte Mart, Lotte Duty Free, Lotte Shopping e-Commerce, Korea Seven, Lotte GRS, Lotte Construction, Lotte Members, Lotte Global Logistics, and Daehong Communications will participate as mentors. Over the next four months, they will conduct PoC projects with the selected startups, with additional support from the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development, Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation, and ACNDC as partners.

Seungwook Kim, CEO of Lotte Ventures, said, “Lotte Ventures is focused on discovering promising startups that can collaborate with Lotte Group companies and supporting their growth through acceleration and investment. We will spare no effort at the group level to ensure co-growth with the startups selected this year.”
